Responsabilidades:

• Ser parte del Chapter QA que crea software e infraestructura para probar nuestras soluciones que componen todo el ecosistema de Yape.
• Nuestras soluciones son móviles, Web, API y orientadas a Data.
• Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales de la compañía para definir hipótesis basadas en datos
• Desarrollar aplicaciones que respeten el diseño, ofrezcan feedback a los diseñadores y planteen trade-offs cuando sea necesario
• Asegurar que el código esté implementado usando buenas prácticas y estándares con el desarrollo de software
• Trabajar lado a lado con desarrolladores de back-end para entender y usar adecuadamente las APIs del sistema Implementar de integración y desarrollar herramientas automatizadas para las tareas diarias

Mid QA

QA Job Duties:

• Configure, design, implement and maintain automation test scripts.
• Execute test cases and record data in test reports.
• Work in an agile software development team with very high production quality standards.
• Build, automate test templates and develop front-end and back-end automation
• Implement/debug existing automation tests and monitor KPI to ensure system stability and seek continued improvements to test infrastructure..
• Installing and testing various systems firmware and SW stack
• Drive support for root cause analysis on reliability and validation test failures to identify contributing factors and achieve mitigation.
• Manage bug lifecycle and collaborate with inter-groups to drive for solutions.
• Leading a project and small team in a fast-paced environment.
• Build test scripts and applications that will be used in the automated test framework (including QA of these scripts/applications).

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Physics) field with 3-5 years proven experience.
• Proven years of experience in developing test scripts and/or programs using Python, PHP, JavaScript, or other high level languages.
• Strong experience in web and mobile app automated and manual testing
• Strong experience with Linux and/or QNX is required, other embedded OS experience is a plus.
• Strong trouble-shooting and debugging experience in backend and frontend components.
• Ability to write the test plans focusing on functional, performance, stress and negative testing.
• Experience in developing CI/CD processes and DevOps contribution with a real passion for automation.
• Proven years of experience in GitHub/Gitlab, Stack/Kubernetes/Docker experience is a huge plus
• Good teamwork with ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills with a demeanor that questions assumptions; and aim to continuously help improve processes and procedures.
• Excellent communications skills with internal and external teams and result oriented and data driven.

Additional responsibilities:

• Develop test plans and test schedules. Monitor and communicate the overall validation project status to project stakeholders.
• Develop test specifications to document test environments, test cases and test procedures, tools, and equipment necessary to test software function and performance. Establish complete requirements traceability and ensure full test coverage.
• Direct a team of QA engineers to assist in all aspects of the validation cycle in order to deliver the Validation Test Reports to the Customer on time.
• Maintain a test case library to support test case re-use and highly efficient test execution. Generate tool scripts to automate certain test cases.
• Track software failures in the validation issue list on the team collaboration site.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify, record, document, and regress internal and customer reported issues.
• Evaluate automation test results and draw meaningful conclusions and take appropriate action to address unstable tests. Ensure QA test environment is similar to the end users environment for manual and automated testing.
• Understand customer usage models and develop a test automation environment to duplicate it in house.
• Support functional SWQA and development teams by automating use cases and repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks to enhance product quality.
