Data Engineer:

What You’ll Do:

·Gathering business requirements and translating them into data requirements

·Build Databricks & AWS based technical solutions leveraging a broad

range of the available toolsets

·Act as a team member on projects under the direction of an architect &

project manager

·Implement end-to-end data platform solutions for our clients

·Develop reports, dashboards, etc.

·Develop data models

·Develop data pipelines and data quality checks

·Author high quality project documentation and other project artifacts,

including written use cases

·Expand your knowledge in multiple tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience building data solutions on Databricks (AWS)

 - Expertise in designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud data warehouse environments

 - ETL/ELT pipelines and tools

Implementing data architectures to support a variety of data formats

  and structures including structured, semi-structured and unstructured data

-Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations

-Understanding of data architectures required to support data integration processing

-Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio, ER/Win or similar

-Experience with Databricks AND/OR AWS Data Platform services, including SQL database, etc

 Preferred Technical Skills: 

·Experience with integration tool such as Airflow, Data Factory, Logic Apps, etc.

·Experience creating strategies to migrate customers from on-

premise environments to AWS

·ThoughtSpot, Power BI or equivalent UI platforms and semantic

modeling
